  1. Place the pan over medium heat. Add in olive oil to heat then the onions follow. Sprinkle salt to draw out moisture.
  2. Saute` the onions until they are soft and juicy.
  3. Continuously stirring, you'll notice a brown colour in them. Stir for about 5 mins. Pour some water to give it a bit of sauce in the bottom. Keep at it for 10 mins.
  4. Add in some wine or brandy to add flavour. Also, ain't that a little fancy. They should be ready to serve.
