Making honey glazed chicken is honorably the best taste in chicken out there. Now I prefer less starchy chicken so we are gonna be using no flour in this recipe. It goes well with the meaty parts of a chicken.

  1. Using a bowl, add in all your ingredients: soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, butter, salt and pepper, lemon juice, whisk them thoroughly. This is your marinade. Save 2/3 of this for later.
  2. You have to marinate your chicken pieces overnight or at least 5-6hrs in a fridge. Using a zipper bag, add in the marinade and chicken then shake. Close airtight then let it absorb the flavor. Keep tossing so the juices reach every piece evenly.
  3. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400F. Prepare your rack with a rimmed baking sheet or get a roasting pan covered with parchment. It should be enough to align the chicken pieces in one layer.
  4. Get your chicken, arrange skin side up evenly without touching or overlapping. Coat the bottom layer with marinade with all constituents in the bag. Bake for 30mins.
  5. Later turn the other side and bake for 20 mins more. Tey are quite something I tell you!
  6. Now to make the actual honey marinade. In a saucepan over heat, go in with your reserved marinade, boil.
  7. Let it simmer for about 10mins over low heat until thick and smooth, remove when done.
  8. Your chicken should be done. Glaze over the baked chicken with a brush and garnish with seeds or chives.
  9. Serve as you please but you can enjoy your meal with fried veggies too.
