The Indian egg-fingers is an easy to make crunchy , tasty snack that can be your go to option if you need something fast. It is best taken with a cup of tea and tomato ketchup.

  1. Beat the eggs into a bowl.
  2. Add 2 pinches of salt, 2 pinches of black pepper and red chilli.
  3. Beat well to create a smooth egg mixture.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into a vessel, preferably aluminium.
  5. Boil little water in a pan .
  6. Place the vessel in the boiling water and cover .
  7. Let it steam for 5 minutes until it hardens.
  8. Use a knife to check if it's fully hard.
  9. If so, take it out and cut the egg in vertical strips or finger-like strips.
  10. Coat each egg finger with corn flour then dip in milk then coat with breadcrumbs.Repeat the above step for each egg finger .
  11. In a pan,deep fry the coated egg fingers on medium temperature. Place kitchen paper after frying to soak up the excess oil from the egg fingers. The egg fingers are ready to serve.
