- Measure 2 cups of water and bring to a boil in a saucepan. For each cup of water use 1 1/2 tsp of black tea leaves.
- Add the cardamon, sugar, evaporated milk (cardamon evaporated milk allows you to not add the cardamon) and ginger. Let it boil vigorously.
- Immediately remove from heat as you let it cool, then put back on the heat. Repeat until a caramelized texture forms, about 4 times.
- Pour tea through a strainer into a cup.
