I learnt to make marinara sauce from my authentic friends, mainly common among those coastal traditions. Pair it with roasted potatoes or onion rings and enjoy the burst of flavors.
Ingredients
Kitchen Wares
Directions
- Get the oil in a saucepan and add in your onions, fry for a minute. Add garlic, oregano, basil, black pepper, garlic powder, and chili flakes. Cook down the spices for a minute.
- Go in with the tomato paste then the fresh tomatoes. Stir for a few moments then add 1/2 cup of water. Let it cook. As soon as the oil separates and settles on top, then it is ready.
