A spicy way to eat your spaghetti. Top it off with parmesan cheese. Have your spaghetti with garlic with these few easy steps.
Ingredients
Kitchen Wares
Directions
- Take a 2-quart saucepan and boil your water, then add in your spaghetti in full size (you can add in half size if you use a shorter saucepan). Do not add oil in the pasta cooking water, salt to your liking.
- In a separate medium-low saucepan, add the oil and garlic and saute. Add in some chili flakes and continue to fry; be careful not to burn the garlic.
- Add in 4 large spoonfuls of the spaghetti water, to get the flavor, in the pan. Fish out the pasta to the saucepan to continue cooking. Do not rinse out your pasta.
- Cook as you add the spaghetti water whenever it sticks to the pan. Throw in your parsley and fresh basil leaves and toss the mix for a while.
- Get the pasta in a bowl and add pecorino cheese to make it a bit creamy and cheesy. Toss nicely and it's ready to serve.
